Private Equity & Investment Funds Associate, Singapore · Global Cross-Border Firm

A global firm is hiring a Singapore-qualified associate for private equity and investment funds work. The team weighs candidates on ability rather than pedigree, so lawyers from outside magic-circle backgrounds are firmly in scope. The seat spans fund formation and fund-level private equity investment.

The work:

• Structure and form private equity and other closed-end funds
• Advise sponsors on fundraising, fund terms, and investor negotiations
• Support fund investments and downstream transactions
• Handle regulatory and licensing questions for fund managers
• Draft partnership agreements and side letters

What they're looking for:

• Singapore qualification at mid-level PQE
• Funds or private equity experience
• Candidates from a range of firm backgrounds, magic circle or otherwise
