Private Equity Associate, Tokyo · Vault Top 30 Firm

Vault Top 30 firm with a thriving Private Equity Transactions Group in Tokyo seeks associates to advise private equity funds and their portfolio companies on sophisticated transactions and corporate matters. You'll work directly with fund managers and portfolio company executives on deals ranging from growth investments to acquisitions.

The work:

• Advise private equity funds and portfolio companies on cross-border acquisitions and growth investments
• Handle corporate governance matters and securities law compliance work
• Build direct client relationships with fund managers and portfolio company leadership

What they're looking for:

• 1-5 years of experience in cross-border corporate transactions and M&A, preferably advising PE funds
• US bar admission required
• Fluent in Japanese and English, able to conduct business in both languages
• Strong foundation in general corporate matters and PE transaction structures
