Funds Formation Associate, Hong Kong · US Practice

A leading US practice is hiring a funds formation associate into its Hong Kong office to work on USD-denominated private funds for Asia-based sponsors. English is the working language, and Chinese is not required. The seat suits someone who wants US-standard fund work without relocating out of the region.

The work:

• Structure and form USD private equity, credit, and other closed-end funds.
• Draft LPAs, PPMs, side letters, and related formation documents.
• Advise sponsors on economic terms and negotiations with institutional investors.
• Coordinate with tax, regulatory, and offshore counsel on structuring questions.

What they're looking for:

• Two to five years of USD fund formation experience.
• An investment management or private funds background at a US or international firm.
• No Chinese-language requirement; English-only candidates are welcome.
