AmLaw 100 firm seeks an associate with 1-5 years of experience to join its fund formation and investment management practice, preferably in Boston or New York, with Chicago or Dallas also considered. The practice advises GPs and LPs across the private funds industry. Qualified candidates will have experience with fund and management structuring, negotiating for and against institutional investors, secondary sales of LP stakes, and GP-led restructurings, plus working knowledge of Investment Advisers Act registration, compliance, and the Securities Act as it relates to private funds. JD and bar admission required.
