Compensation and Benefits Associate, Multiple US Locations · Vault Top 30 Firm

A major international law firm is seeking a compensation and benefits associate with 2 to 4 years of law firm experience. You will focus on the compensation and benefits aspects of complex corporate transactions and provide ongoing counsel to growth-stage companies, particularly in technology and life sciences. You may also work on qualified retirement plans and health and welfare plan matters for companies and their investors.

The work:

• Advising on compensation and benefits dimensions of M&A transactions
• Providing day-to-day counsel to emerging growth companies
• Structuring qualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefits
• Supporting compensation matters for technology and life sciences clients
• Advising investors and portfolio companies on benefits matters

What they're looking for:

• 2-4 years of experience in compensation and benefits at a law firm
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• State bar admission required for the applicable office location
• Experience with technology or life sciences clients preferred
• Salary range $235,000 to $310,000
