Executive Compensation Associate, New York · Magic Circle Firm

Mid-level compensation and benefits associate at a premier global law firm. You'll advise private and public companies and alternative asset managers on executive compensation and benefits matters in M&A, corporate governance, and capital markets contexts. Your work spans equity plan design and tax compliance to transaction-related compensation structures. You'll work closely with partners and senior attorneys across practice areas on complex deals and corporate matters.

The work:

• Advise private and public companies on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
• Support M&A transactions involving compensation structure, design, and planning
• Counsel on corporate governance and capital markets compensation issues
• Handle equity plan design, administration, and tax compliance
• Advise alternative asset managers on compensation and benefits arrangements
• Structure complex compensation arrangements for corporate transactions

What they're looking for:

• JD from accredited law school
• New York bar admission
• 3-5 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience
• Experience advising both private and public companies
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
