A law firm with deep expertise in employee benefits and labor matters seeks a transactional associate with three to five years of experience. You'll focus on executive compensation and benefits, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. The role includes structuring compensation arrangements, advising on benefits compliance, and handling employment-related aspects of corporate transactions.

The work:

• Structure and advise on executive compensation plans and programs
• Handle labor and employment matters in M&A contexts
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements
• Advise on ERISA compliance and benefits administration
• Support compensation structuring in acquisition contexts

What they're looking for:

• Three to five years of transactional law firm experience
• Background in executive compensation and benefits
• Experience with M&A-related compensation issues
• Big Law experience preferred but not required
• Admitted to New York Bar
