A Vault Top 20 firm is hiring for its employee benefits and compensation practice in Washington, D.C. The group advises clients on executive compensation structures, retirement and welfare plans, and related employee benefits matters.

The work:

• Design and documentation of equity plans and executive retention packages
• Compliance and administration of retirement and welfare plans
• Compensation arrangement structuring in M&A transactions
• Legal research and analysis supporting transaction and compliance work
• Drafting of contracts, correspondence, and legal memoranda
• Transaction management and client relationship support

What they're looking for:

• 2+ years of related experience
• JD from an accredited law school
• Strong analytical and writing abilities
• Attention to detail and sound business judgment
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
