This Vault Top 20 firm's Compensation and Benefits practice is building its team with an attorney to advise on tax-qualified retirement plans and health and welfare matters. The role offers substantial exposure to ERISA compliance, plan design, regulatory work, and transactional counseling.

The work:

• ERISA compliance, plan design, administration, and regulatory matters for qualified retirement and health/welfare plans
• Plan document drafting, compliance testing, and related disclosures
• IRS and Department of Labor filings, audits, and correction matters
• Benefit plan advisory work in mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions
• ESOP transactions and ERISA plan asset rules

What they're looking for:

• 6+ years of experience advising on qualified retirement plans and ERISA matters
• Strong background in plan design, administration, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
• Compensation: $390,000+ depending on location and experience
