Benefits Attorney, Pennsylvania · Established Regional Firm
Mid-level position in employee benefits and ERISA law at an established regional Pennsylvania firm. You'll build a strong practice in this specialty with direct client contact while managing the technical and fiduciary dimensions of retirement and employee benefit programs.
The work:
- ERISA plan design, documentation, and implementation for retirement programs and employee benefit arrangements
- Compliance review and fiduciary obligations analysis
- Tax law analysis of benefit plan structures and funding mechanisms
- Client advisory on plan strategy, regulatory changes, and operational matters
- Research on ERISA regulations and regulatory guidance
- Drafting and reviewing plan documents and participant communications
What they're looking for:
- 2 to 4 years of substantive ERISA and benefits law experience
- Prior experience in mid-size or large law firm environments
- Strong analytical capabilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid academic record
- Entrepreneurial orientation and commitment to developing client relationships
