Tax Associate, New York · Vault Top 10 Firm

A top-tier law firm is seeking a tax associate for its New York office. You'll work on the full spectrum of federal tax matters for domestic and international clients, including corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.

The work:

• Tax structure planning and optimization for transactions, including acquisitions and investments
• Corporate and partnership tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory filings
• Tax dispute representation and IRS enforcement matters
• Tax due diligence in M&A and other transactions
• Research and analysis on complex tax questions

What they're looking for:

• 3-6 years of experience in tax law or accounting
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to conduct independent research and analysis
• New York bar admission required
• Comfortable working with clients and external advisors
