A Vault top 10 firm's international tax practice in New York seeks an associate to advise multinational clients on complex cross-border tax matters. You'll conduct in-depth legal research on tax issues, prepare legal opinions and memoranda, and build experience in tax controversy work. The role requires one year of prior experience at an international law firm or as a judicial law clerk. You must demonstrate competence across three core areas: preparing and reviewing litigation briefs and court filings, analyzing witness depositions, and conducting technical legal research for contested hearings and trials. Hybrid work arrangement available. Candidates must hold a JD or LLM (or equivalent) and be licensed or eligible for admission in New York. Compensation range: $310,000-$390,000.
