Senior Associate, Debt Finance, Sydney · Global Finance Powerhouse

Global finance firm seeks senior associate to join its debt finance practice in Sydney. This role focuses on advising lenders, sponsors and borrowers on complex financing transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

The work:

• Advising on syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts, acquisition financing and structured finance
• Drafting loan agreements, security documents and related financing contracts
• Managing day-to-day client communication across multiple concurrent transactions
• Coordinating with junior team members and external parties
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and managing transaction risks

What they're looking for:

• 4-7 years post-qualification experience in banking and finance
• Admission in Australia
• Strong background in general banking finance and leveraged transactions
• Experience with syndicated and bilateral financings (secured and unsecured)
• Strong academic record
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commercial awareness and client service focus
• Ability to manage multiple deals under pressure

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience.
