The practice advises across the full range of energy and resources work, from development to operations, for major mining companies, energy producers, renewable developers, and energy traders. The role offers exposure to significant cross-border transactions and regulatory work across major resource jurisdictions.

The work:

• Major energy infrastructure projects from development through financing and completion
• Renewable energy and energy transition matters
• Oil and gas, mining, water, and utilities sectors
• Regulatory, legislative, and policy matters affecting energy operators
• Commercial agreements, joint ventures, and commodity transactions
• Cross-border matters working with global teams
• Energy asset acquisitions and dispositions

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in energy law at a leading firm
• Demonstrated expertise in energy projects, renewable energy, and energy transition
• Strong technical drafting and commercial skills
• Collaborative approach with ability to build client relationships
• Willingness to mentor and support junior lawyers
