Real Estate Associate, Washington, D.C. · Leading Global Law Firm

Global law firm seeking a midlevel associate to join its real estate practice in Washington, D.C., focusing on transactions involving foreign inbound investors, domestic developers, and institutional lenders.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for real estate investments and development projects
• Handle real estate development documentation and financing structures
• Conduct title and survey review for acquisitions
• Represent lenders in real estate finance matters
• Work across transaction types including joint ventures, multi-family housing, manufacturing, and planned communities
• Support transactions in industrial and technology sectors including data centers and advanced manufacturing

What they're looking for:

• 3-4 years of real estate transactional and development experience
• Proficiency in purchase and sale agreements and real estate transaction documentation
• Lender-side finance representation experience or strong finance background
• Familiarity with economic incentives programs
• Self-starter who manages competing deadlines and client priorities effectively
• Strong communication and analytical abilities
• Commitment to high-quality client service

Compensation: $250,000-$280,000 annually.
