Real Estate Associate, New York · Magic Circle Firm

A Magic Circle firm's New York office is seeking a senior real estate associate with 4-7 years of big law transactional experience. This is a substantial seat handling complex deals across acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and development transactions.

The work:

• Lead acquisitions and dispositions of significant real estate assets
• Structure and negotiate joint venture transactions and related documentation
• Manage development projects through the full deal lifecycle—negotiation, financing, and closing
• Draft and revise complex transaction agreements and ancillary documentation
• Oversee document preparation and closing logistics

What they're looking for:

• 4-7 years of transactional real estate experience in a major law firm
• Demonstrated proficiency leading acquisitions, sales, and complex transactions
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience managing multi-party real estate transactions
• New York Bar admission required
• Compensation $310k–$420k
