The work:

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO
• Advise clients on patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
• Assess patentability, freedom-to-operate, and patent validity issues
• Counsel on patent enforcement and portfolio monetization strategy
• Analyze complex engineering and software technical matters

What they're looking for:

• 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience (USPTO or law firm)
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering, or computer science
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Former patent examiner experience strongly preferred
• Bar admission and juris doctorate required
