Mid-Level Associate, Washington, D.C. · Vault Top 10 Firm

A Vault Top 10 law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its real estate finance practice in Washington, D.C. You'll represent institutional lenders in structured real estate transactions, including mortgages, mezzanine financing, and construction lending.

The work:

• Handle mortgage loan documentation, negotiation, and closing from the lender's perspective
• Structure mezzanine financing arrangements for development projects
• Advise on construction loan mechanics and documentation
• Manage acquisition and disposition transaction structures
• Participate in closing and post-closing portfolio management

• 3-6 years of substantive real estate finance experience
• Strong academic credentials
• DC Bar admission
• Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills
• Track record representing lenders in complex transactions
• Compensation: $260,000-$420,000
