Litigation Associate, Phoenix · AmLaw Global 100 Firm

Employment litigation role with meaningful case ownership from the start. You'll handle employment disputes including class actions, trade secret cases, and restrictive covenant litigation. Work spans discovery management, depositions, witness interviews, motion drafting, and trial support. The practice covers federal employment statutes—Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA—and related state law. This is litigation work, not consulting. The firm prioritizes associates who want trial experience and can conduct depositions and hearings independently.

The work:

• Manage discovery: draft and respond to discovery demands
• Conduct witness interviews and depositions
• Draft motions, briefs, and litigation documents
• Support trial preparation and cover hearings
• Handle employment law issues across federal and state statutes

What they're looking for:

• Prior litigation experience (employment or otherwise)
• Working knowledge of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA
• Interest in trial practice and deposition work
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Arizona State Bar admission or willingness to obtain it
• Strong academic credentials
