Litigation Associate, Houston · Vault Top 50 Firm

A major national law firm seeks an experienced litigation associate for its Houston office, serving clients across energy, financial services, and technology. The role combines courtroom litigation with practical employment law counseling.

The work:

• Complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts for institutional clients
• Advising clients on workforce strategy, employment compliance, and employment-related risks
• Structuring and negotiating employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and separation arrangements
• Representing clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings
• Intellectual property litigation and mass tort defense

What they're looking for:

• Three to five years of litigation experience at a major law firm
• Demonstrated interest in and experience with trial practice
• Strong academic credentials and Texas bar membership
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior partners and clients
• Practical problem-solving approach and polished client-facing presence

Compensation: $235,000–$365,000, based on experience and qualifications.
