Leveraged Finance Associate, Washington, DC · Vault Top 10 Firm

Top-tier law firm seeking experienced leveraged finance associate (3+ years) with deep expertise in syndicated lending and private credit transactions. This role offers responsibility for leading complex financing arrangements alongside lead arrangers and borrowers, with exposure to LBO structures and sponsor finance.

The work:

• Lead acquisition financings, refinancings, and dividend recap transactions
• Handle liability management transactions and restructuring-related financings
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents for syndicated lending and private credit deals
• Work primarily for borrower and lead arranger clients
• Advise on complex sponsor finance and leverage buyout structures

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 3 years' experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending
• Strong background in sponsor finance and LBO finance
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the Washington, DC bar
• Demonstrated ability to lead financing transactions
• Track record of drafting and negotiating complex transaction documentation
