Latin America Finance Associate, New York · Global Finance Powerhouse

One of the market's leading finance practices is hiring a mid-level associate for Latin America project and development finance in New York. The work is cross-border, covering financings across the region for sponsors, lenders, and developers. Deals run the energy and infrastructure space, from early development through funding and later refinancing.

The work:

• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security packages, and project documents on limited-recourse financings.
• Run workstreams across LatAm energy and infrastructure mandates, from development stage through closing.
• Coordinate local counsel in multiple jurisdictions and track conditions to close.
• Act opposite commercial banks, multilateral lenders, and export credit agencies alongside project sponsors.

What they're looking for:

• Roughly three to six years in project or development finance, with Latin America exposure preferred.
• Working Spanish or Portuguese for deal documents and client contact.
• Ability to own a workstream and supervise junior associates.
• US qualification and solid finance drafting.
