Labor & Employment Senior Associate, Portland, Maine · Leading Employment & Labor Practice

Senior attorney position at the world's largest employment and labor law firm exclusively representing management. Hybrid role in Portland, Maine office, working on substantive employment law matters for diverse employer clients across sectors.

The work:

• Represent employers in employment litigation, mediation, and negotiation
• Counsel clients on employment law compliance and risk management
• Draft employment contracts, policies, and employment-related agreements
• Handle disputes involving wage and hour, discrimination, wrongful termination, and workplace safety matters
• Work across various industries and organization sizes

What they're looking for:

• 5-7 years of employment law experience with significant litigation background
• Maine bar admission (or eligible for admission by waiver or UBE transfer)
• Strong academic credentials and communication skills
• Familiarity with AI and emerging legal technologies to enhance client work and efficiency
• Additional New England bar admissions advantageous
