Labor & Employment Associate, San Francisco · Vault Top 10 Firm

A Vault Top 10 firm is hiring a labor and employment associate for its San Francisco office. The role focuses on employer-side litigation involving class actions, wage and hour disputes, and discrimination claims, plus counseling and investigations work. Associates work with experienced partners on complex matters from case inception through resolution.

The work:

• Litigate class and representative actions in wage and hour and discrimination disputes
• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and analyze findings
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and supporting briefs
• Counsel clients on employment matters and conduct workplace investigations
• Meet with clients and opposing counsel on litigation strategy
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations

What they're looking for:

• Three years of employment law experience at a peer firm
• Class years 2019–2023
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Class action litigation experience preferred
• Compensation range: $260,000–$420,000 annually, plus performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits
