Labor & Employment Associate, San Francisco · AmLaw 100 Firm

An AmLaw 100 law firm with a 24-year Fortune's Best Places to Work designation seeks a labor and employment associate for its San Francisco office. The practice combines litigation, counseling, and compliance work across all employment law areas.

The work:

• Representing clients in employment litigation in federal and state courts
• Managing wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff disputes through discovery, depositions, and motions
• Drafting employment agreements, arbitration provisions, separation agreements, and related documents
• Advising clients on compliance with employment law, workplace policies, accommodations, and disciplinary matters
• Conducting labor due diligence on M&A transactions
• Opposing class certification motions and negotiating settlements

What they're looking for:

• 2-5 years of employment litigation experience with court experience
• Strong legal writing and research skills with demonstrated ability to draft motions and briefs
• Knowledge of wage and hour law and class action litigation
• Experience counseling clients on employment compliance and policy matters
• Federal clerkship experience a plus
• Compensation: $235,000-$365,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus, health insurance, parental leave, and other benefits
