Labor & Employment Associate

This role is with an Am Law 50 firm's Labor & Employment practice group, based in San Diego. You'll work on employment litigation covering wage and hour class actions, PAGA claims, and discrimination cases, along with day-to-day employment law counseling.

The work:

• California wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation defense
• Discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims
• Employment law counseling and compliance advice
• Discovery management and motion practice
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and court filings
• Trial preparation in state and federal courts
• Settlement negotiations and conference participation

What they're looking for:

• 2-3 years of legal experience
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Experience with employment litigation
• Admission to the California Bar required
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Top academic credentials
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Compensation: $240,000-$260,000 annually, with benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), disability and life insurance, adoption assistance, and backup dependent care.
