This leading employment law firm is seeking a labor and employment associate for its Portland, Maine office. You'll represent employers across complex workplace disputes, regulatory compliance matters, and litigation. The position requires substantial litigation experience and expertise in employment law.

The work:

• Represent employers in employment litigation and dispute resolution matters
• Draft legal memoranda and client correspondence on employment issues
• Advise clients on compliance with employment and labor laws
• Conduct legal research, discovery, and trial preparation
• Negotiate settlements and manage employment-related disputes

What they're looking for:

• 2-4 years of labor and employment law experience
• Significant litigation background required
• Strong academic credentials
• Licensed to practice in Maine (additional New England bar admissions helpful)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
