Labor & Employment Associate, Philadelphia · Leading National Law Firm

A leading national law firm with a full-service labor and employment department is seeking an associate to join its Philadelphia office. You'll work on high-stakes employment litigation and traditional labor matters across a diverse client base including public companies, private enterprises, nonprofits, universities, and government agencies.

The work:

• Defend clients in employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, defamation, non-compete disputes, and wrongful discharge
• Handle individual and class action matters
• Represent clients before federal and state courts, administrative agencies (EEOC, NLRB, DOL, OSHA, ICE), and arbitrators
• Research and draft briefs on employment law issues
• Advise on traditional labor matters: workplace relations, collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, and unfair labor practice proceedings

What they're looking for:

• At least 3 years defending clients in employment litigation
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy
• Ability to research and brief employment law thoroughly
• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
• Active Pennsylvania law license in good standing
