Labor & Employment Associate, Houston · AmLaw 100 Firm

AmLaw 100 firm's substantial labor and employment practice seeks a mid-level associate for its Houston office. You'll work on employment litigation and disputes, investigations, counseling on restrictive covenants and trade secrets, wage and hour matters, and discrimination claims.

The work:

• Represent employers in complex employment and commercial litigation
• Conduct fact investigation and analysis on disputed employment matters
• Draft employment agreements and restrictive covenant provisions
• Research legal issues and prepare written analysis
• Support cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination

What they're looking for:

• 2-4 years of employment, commercial, or complex litigation experience
• Excellent writing and research skills
• Strong academic credentials and work ethic
• Texas Bar admission in good standing
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
• Federal clerkship experience a plus

Salary: $235,000-$310,000. In-office role; remote work not available.
