Labor and Employment Associate, Seattle · AmLaw 100

An AmLaw 100 firm with strong workplace culture seeks a mid-level to senior associate for its Labor and Employment practice. You'll handle employment litigation and counsel clients on compliance matters.

The work:

• Employment litigation including class actions and wage/hour lawsuits
• Court appearances and depositions
• Summary judgment motions and dispositive briefing
• Discovery management and responses
• Labor due diligence for M&A transactions
• Counseling clients on employment policies, compliance, and discipline
• Drafting separation agreements, offer letters, and arbitration agreements
• Supervising junior associates

What they're looking for:

• 4 to 7 years of employment law experience
• Litigation background including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits
• Federal clerkship experience preferred
• Ability to manage client relationships and lead matters
• Excellent academic credentials and legal writing skills
• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
• M&A labor due diligence experience preferred
