Labor and Employment Associate, Los Angeles · Leading Labor and Employment Firm

A mid-to-senior-level associate role focused on employment litigation at a nationally recognized firm. You'll handle wage and hour class actions and representative action litigation for major corporate clients, with meaningful opportunities to build toward partnership while working on sophisticated matters alongside a collaborative team.

The work:

• Managing and litigating wage and hour class actions and representative action litigation
• Representing clients through all phases of litigation from inception through resolution
• Conducting depositions and courtroom advocacy
• Conducting legal research and drafting litigation motions and memoranda
• Managing multiple matters simultaneously and coordinating across teams
• Independently handling cases and exercising judgment in client matters

What they're looking for:

• 4 or more years of employment litigation experience focused on wage and hour class actions
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle cases through all litigation phases
• Strong deposition and courtroom experience
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Admission to practice in California
• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple complex matters
