Labor and Employment Associate, Boston; Providence · Regional Labor Practice

A regional law firm in New England is hiring an experienced labor and employment attorney for its Boston and Providence offices. This position is ideal for an associate with at least four years of practice seeking hands-on experience across a broad range of employment matters in a collaborative setting.

The work:

• Litigate labor and employment disputes, including wage and hour claims, discrimination cases, and non-compete disputes
• Counsel employers and employees on employment-related issues and HR strategy
• Draft employment agreements, policies, and other employment-related documents
• Conduct workplace investigations and training sessions
• Handle transactional work and employment due diligence
• Advise on labor relations matters such as union organizing, collective bargaining, and NLRB proceedings (background a plus)
• Support clients on executive compensation arrangements and structures

What they're looking for:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• Four years of labor and employment practice experience
• Strong legal writing and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Solid analytical and research abilities

Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $220,000, depending on location, experience, and background.
