IP & Technology Litigation Associate, San Francisco · AmLaw Top 100 Firm

Associate position in IP and technology litigation at an AmLaw Top 100 firm with a broad client base spanning startups to Fortune 500 companies. The practice handles high-stakes disputes across technology law, internet regulation, privacy, and intellectual property. You'll work on matters from initial strategy and research through trial and appeal, with exposure to cutting-edge issues and significant early responsibility.

The work:

• Litigate AI-related disputes involving copyright, product liability, and international data collection
• Handle internet law class actions under consumer protection statutes
• Manage IP enforcement matters involving trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, and patents
• Represent technology companies and investors in crypto and blockchain disputes, regulatory investigations, and founder conflicts
• Advise on privacy incidents, data breaches, and commercial disputes arising from security failures
• Prosecute and defend speech-related technology litigation

What they're looking for:

• 2-6 years of litigation experience, ideally at a mid-to-large firm
• Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, conduct research, and manage discovery
• Interest in technology law, intellectual property, internet regulation, crypto, privacy, or AI
• California bar admission
• Strong writing, analytical skills, and attention to detail
