Government Contracts Compliance Associate, Washington, D.C. · Leading International Law Firm
An established international law firm is seeking an associate to join their government contracts practice in Washington, D.C. This role focuses on compliance, risk management, and regulatory matters in federal procurement.
The work:
- Advising clients on compliance obligations and regulatory requirements in government contracting
- Conducting risk assessments and identifying potential exposure in supply chain and performance matters
- Drafting analyses, memoranda, and client communications on complex regulatory issues
- Supporting internal investigations and disclosure reviews
- Assisting clients with mandatory and voluntary disclosure requirements
- Conducting legal research on federal procurement law and regulations
- Counseling clients on contractual and regulatory interpretation
What they're looking for:
- 3-5 years of law firm experience in government contracts
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and government stakeholders
- Experience with compliance and regulatory matters
- D.C. Bar admission or eligibility to waive in
- Commitment to excellent client service
