Join a major AmLaw Global 100 firm's Government Contracts practice in Washington, DC or Northern Virginia. This role offers the chance to advise federal agencies, contractors, and subcontractors on complex government procurement matters, compliance requirements, and related disputes.

The work:

  • Counsel clients on compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Advise on federal grants, subcontractor relationships, and prime-contractor agreements
  • Handle bid protests and defend against government contract disputes
  • Investigate government contracting violations and defend False Claims Act actions
  • Prepare compliance documentation and manage regulatory filings

What they're looking for:

  • 2+ years of government contracts, grants, or related legal experience
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS compliance, investigations, or litigation
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Background in law firm, government agency, or judicial clerkship
  • Current bar admission in good standing
  • Law school transcripts with application
