Employment & Labor Associate, Atlanta, Charleston & Short Hills · AmLaw 50 Firm

An AmLaw 50 law firm seeks an employment and labor associate for its Atlanta, Charleston, or Short Hills office. You'll handle the full range of employment matters: complex litigation (class actions, wage-hour claims, ERISA), agreements and policies, compliance advice, investigations, and M&A due diligence. The team serves multinational and domestic clients on workforce issues.

The work:

• Litigate employment disputes including class actions, wage-hour claims, ERISA cases, and administrative charges
• Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, severance packages, and workplace policies
• Take and defend depositions, manage discovery, draft motions and pleadings
• Advise on compliance, policy implementation, and sensitive personnel matters
• Support employment due diligence in mergers and acquisitions
• Counsel on labor relations and NLRB matters
• Conduct internal investigations
• Work directly with partners and clients on case strategy

What they're looking for:

• 2-6 years of employment law experience including litigation and counseling
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
• Trial experience valued
• Collaborative, responsive, and client-focused
• Licensed to practice and in good standing
