A leading Vault-ranked firm is strengthening its employment practice across multiple U.S. markets. This mid-associate position involves working with established clients in technology and private equity sectors on employment matters.

The work:

• Provide counsel to business leaders on employment issues, from workforce planning to policy compliance
• Support corporate transactions by identifying and mitigating employment-related risks
• Draft and review employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and severance arrangements
• Guide clients through complex employment disputes and regulatory compliance matters
• Handle both proactive advisory work and transaction-related employment issues

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of employment law experience at a recognized firm
• Bar admission in California or New York
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop practical solutions balancing business needs with legal risk
• Strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
• Comfort operating both independently and collaboratively
