Global law firm seeks an employment lawyer for a 12-month role advising a financial services organization in Melbourne. You'll handle employment law matters, compliance issues, and regulatory matters for a large enterprise client.

The work:

• Provide general employment law support and advice
• Manage compliance with workplace health and safety and anti-discrimination laws
• Liaise with employment regulators including Fair Work Ombudsman and IR Commission
• Monitor legislative changes and recommend policy updates
• Advise on employment disputes and personnel matters

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 5 years employment law experience
• Background from private practice or in-house at large organizations
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety compliance
• Experience with employment regulators (Fair Work, IR Commission)
• Current Australian practicing certificate
• Right to work in Australia
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues to business stakeholders
