Senior attorney position in Compensation and Benefits at an AmLaw 100 firm. You'll advise clients on tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, ERISA compliance requirements, and benefits implications across corporate transactions and ongoing compliance matters.

The work:

• Draft and revise plan documents, amendments, plan disclosures, and related compliance materials
• Conduct compliance testing and manage regulatory filings and audits with the IRS and Department of Labor
• Address ERISA compliance issues and guide deficiency correction processes
• Advise on benefits considerations in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
• Structure and execute ESOP transactions and manage ERISA plan asset matters

What they're looking for:

• 6+ years of experience advising on tax-qualified plans and ERISA compliance matters
• Strong academic background
• Superior writing and communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong analytical capability
• Hands-on experience with plan documentation and regulatory relationships

Compensation: $390,000+.
