Commercial Litigation Associate, Los Angeles · Leading Global Law Firm

Associate position in commercial litigation at a leading global law firm representing multinational corporations, major financial institutions, and other clients through all phases of high-stakes business disputes. You'll develop strategy, manage discovery, and appear in court on matters spanning contract disputes, class actions, antitrust litigation, IP disputes, and regulatory investigations. The practice emphasizes early responsibility on complex matters with collegial partners and strong mentorship.

The work:

• Develop and execute strategy on complex commercial disputes, class actions, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations
• Draft briefs, pleadings, memoranda, correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Manage document and deposition discovery, expert witness preparation, and trial work
• Conduct legal research and witness interviews
• Interact directly with clients and colleagues across the firm's global network
• Supervise junior lawyers and support staff

What they're looking for:

• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong academic background with excellent writing and research skills
• Commercial awareness and ability to grasp complex cross-border disputes
• Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Bar admission and good standing
• Team orientation with independent judgment
