Commercial and employment lawyer on an eight-month assignment in the health sector, supporting an organization in managing employment law risk and corporate matters. This flexible resourcing role places you with a top-tier global law firm's practice.

The work:

• Handle complex employment law matters and formal staff complaints
• Advise senior leadership on employment law issues, policy compliance, and HR risk management
• Manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters
• Serve as in-house legal counsel to executive teams including C-suite
• Simplify complex legal issues for business leaders to facilitate decision-making

What they're looking for:

• Seven or more years of commercial law experience with substantial employment and HR practice
• Proven ability to manage complex employment law matters and influence business stakeholders
• Comfort advising at executive level, including CEO and senior management
• Ability to work autonomously, adapt to client needs, and communicate clearly with non-lawyers
• Current Australian practicing certificate and legal work rights
