The work:

• Advise on corporate lending structures, insolvency, and restructuring matters
• Handle complex finance transactions including derivatives, secondary debt trading, and ISDA documentation
• Provide regulatory compliance advice under the Corporations Act, Banking Code of Practice, and related frameworks
• Support client communications, product design, and customer migration projects
• Manage warranty and indemnity claims and transaction support agreements

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 6 years' experience as a banking and finance lawyer
• Demonstrated expertise in finance structures, derivatives, and insolvency processes
• Sound judgment balancing legal, commercial, and customer considerations
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple engagements concurrently
• Right to work in Australia with current or obtainable practising certificate
