Opportunity for an associate in a Vault Top 50 firm's international trade and investment practice. The team handles regulatory matters and transactions involving foreign investment review, export licensing, and government contracts.

The work:

• Advising clients on foreign investment committee proceedings and outbound investment restrictions
• Managing compliance and licensing matters involving export controls and sanctions
• Supporting government contracts and internal compliance investigations
• Structuring investments and M&A transactions with regulatory components
• Engaging with federal agencies on trade and security matters

What they're looking for:

• Two to six years of legal experience
• Background or strong interest in foreign investment policy, export regulations, or government contracts
• Familiarity with applicable federal agencies and their regulatory frameworks
• Law degree from a top-tier institution

Compensation ranges from $235,000 to $390,000 based on experience and location.
