A Vault Top 10 law firm seeks experienced debt finance associates for its Americas banking practice in New York. The team handles syndicated loans, leveraged buyouts, structured finance, and cross-border financing transactions. You'll draft and negotiate loan documentation, manage deal teams from initial discussions through closing, and work with lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions.

The work:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commitment letters, term sheets, and loan agreements
• Conducting legal research and due diligence
• Managing deal teams from initial discussions through closing and post-closing matters
• Managing client and counterparty relationships and communications
• Mentoring junior team members

What they're looking for:

• 4+ years of debt finance experience
• Background in syndicated lending, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, or direct lending
• Strong academic credentials
• Strong drafting and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters under pressure
• Bar admission in good standing
• Competitive market compensation ($310,000–$420,000) with performance bonus and benefits
