Arbitration Associate, London · Global Law Firm

The firm's international arbitration group handles complex cross-border disputes for multinational corporations, financial institutions, investors, and sovereign states across industries including finance, energy, mining, technology, and infrastructure. As a mid-level associate, you'll manage arbitration matters independently and collaboratively across the firm's global offices.

The work:

• Lead evidence-gathering and case development across complex arbitrations
• Draft submissions, witness statements, and procedural correspondence
• Prepare for and support hearings, including opening statements and cross-examinations
• Work with technical experts and quantum specialists
• Manage junior team members and oversee case workstreams
• Advise clients on strategy and risk management
• Conduct legal research and coordinate multi-jurisdictional teams

What they're looking for:

• 2-4 years of arbitration experience at a major commercial law firm
• Qualification in English law (additional jurisdictions a plus)
• Strong academic credentials and intellectual curiosity
• Commercial awareness and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Interest in business development and professional growth
