The role offers hands-on deal work with significant client exposure and mentorship from experienced partners.

The work:

• Seed-stage through Series-round venture capital financings
• Mergers, acquisitions, and sale transactions
• Private equity fund formation and portfolio company investments
• General corporate counseling and advisory work
• Transaction structuring, documentation, and negotiation

What they're looking for:

• 3-5 years of transaction law or corporate finance experience
• Demonstrated experience with venture capital or early-stage company work
• Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
• Business development aptitude or interest
• California bar admission required
• Strong academic credentials and deal experience

Compensation: $260,000–$390,000 annually, plus health, dental, vision, 401(k), disability insurance, adoption assistance, and dependent care benefits.
