Transactions Associate, Dallas · American Lawyer 100 Firm

Entry-level transactions associate role starting fall 2026. You'll join a national business law practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and securities matters for middle and upper-middle market companies, private equity funds, and family offices. The practice works across multiple firm offices with integrated deal teams.

The work:

• M&A transaction document drafting and legal analysis
• Securities matter research and documentation
• Due diligence support across deal teams
• Work with lawyers and clients across multiple regions
• Private equity fund transaction support

What they're looking for:

• 2026 law school graduate (JD from ABA-approved school)
• Coursework or experience in corporate law, banking and finance, or financial regulation
• Strong research and drafting capabilities
• Summer associate law firm experience preferred
• Strong academic performance
• Texas bar admission required (eligible to sit or transfer UBE score)
• Detail-oriented and motivated approach

Salary: $225,000.
