Transactional Associate, Multiple US Locations · AmLaw 100 Firm

An AmLaw 100 firm is expanding its energy practice and hiring a mid-level associate with 4-6 years of transactional experience to handle power and renewable energy deals. You'll work on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and development arrangements, managing complex document drafting, due diligence, and closing coordination. The role requires working across multiple offices and collaborating with partners, senior attorneys, and sophisticated energy sector clients.

The work:

• Representing clients in power and renewable energy transactions
• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, and development agreements
• Managing due diligence processes and coordinating with third-party advisors
• Supporting transactions from signing through closing
• Handling commercial and financing aspects of energy deals
• Coordinating across multiple practice areas and office locations

What they're looking for:

• 4-6 years of legal experience in transactional and energy work
• Demonstrated experience with power and renewable energy transactions, M&A, and joint ventures
• Strong drafting and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work independently
• Bar admission in the hiring office's state or timely admission required
• Compensation: $290,000-$390,000
