Trademark Associate, Multiple US Locations · Leading Intellectual Property Firm

Leading intellectual property firm seeks trademark associate for its Boston, New York, San Diego, Silicon Valley, or Washington D.C. office. This mid to senior-level position works alongside nationally ranked trademark and copyright counsel, providing strategic brand protection and enforcement advice to companies across industries.

The work:

• Trademark prosecution including PTO office action responses and substantive counseling
• Clearance searches and trademark availability analysis
• Trademark enforcement including cease-and-desist letters, domain disputes, and UDRP proceedings
• TTAB proceedings and opposition matters
• Copyright counseling and protection strategies
• Social media and digital platform trademark issues
• Licensing and advertising-related trademark matters

What they're looking for:

• 2–4 years of U.S. and foreign trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution experience
• Copyright law experience
• Active bar membership in good standing
• Superior legal writing and analytical skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse clients, attorneys, and staff
• Enthusiasm for team-oriented environment

Compensation: $225,000–$260,000, adjusted for experience and flex-time arrangements. Flexible hybrid work environment, annual technology allowance, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, back-up childcare.
