Trademark and Copyright Associate, Multiple US Locations · Global Law Firm

Global law firm seeking mid-level trademark and copyright associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its IP practice. Positions available in Denver, Minneapolis, New York, and Salt Lake City.

The work:

• Handle trademark strategy, clearance, prosecution, and enforcement matters domestically and internationally
• Manage copyright analysis, filings, and enforcement including DMCA compliance and domain name disputes
• Draft and negotiate IP licenses, rights transfers, and related agreements
• Support IP-focused due diligence on M&A and financing transactions
• Handle opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board
• Advise on advertising, marketing, and unfair competition matters

What they're looking for:

• 2-4 years of hands-on trademark and copyright experience
• Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while maintaining client relationships
• Strong analytical and writing capabilities
• Bar admission in Minnesota, New York, Colorado, or Utah required
• Bonus consideration for experience with IP licensing and advertising/entertainment law
